While I was in the Armed Forces, someone who is in his 30s once told me personally that no matter what the outcome of the results are- Be it in sports, studies, training, striving for commitment, exams, competition n so on, always believe that there is nothing to feel despair but just feel the appreciation of ur work and effort that you've put in. It's the amount of time, energy, strength, commitment, determination n the perseverance in you that should be acknowledged and be proud of. When the result doesn't meet ur expectation, we tend to look down in despair and feel sorry about it. Of course there will sadness and disappointment when we have not achieved our purpose of doing. I felt that way too during certain occasion especially during difficult times. Those moment when I've tried really hard to achieve them only to know that things didnt turn out to be the way it is. I didn't acknowledge my effort then. Maybe that was why I felt so despair. But as least now I know that I've done my part. I've gave almost everything, I gave my effort and my very best in every possible way that life has given me so far. But there will also be disappointment when things do not turn out to be the way I hope to be- I can't deny that, I am human afterall, I have feelings. The pain and agony will always be there. But that is part and parcel of life isnt it. We can't always win all the time. We can't always get what we want, we can't always have things our way all the time n so forth. But what we can do is to take it as a learning experience. In spite of what has happened in the past, we can always look forward to the present n the future to continue our hard work, our hopes and our dreams. And someday, that day will turn out to be the best day in ur life.
