To have a positive, honest and compassionate relationship with urself can be the ultimate in human understanding. One of the biggest choice u have is how and when to forgive. Forgiving is just as much about forgiving urself as abt forgiving others. You have an enormous capacity to forgive. Time does heal all wounds, and forgiving heals wound even quicker.
Sometimes we create rules inside our head for other people's behaviour, then get upset when they don't behave as we think they should. We punish them even further by speaking badly about them to ourselves and sometimes to others. We discuss our upset feelings in our self-talk and the talks with others instead of directly with that person. We frame the person guilty for not behaving as we wanted, but this person seldom even knows about the incident. Exactly whom are we punishing? Think about it....
